What Message Are We Sending the Children of Our Nation?
Leftists Target Vulnerable Impressionable Children
In our nation’s schools our children are being taught that the doctor may have made a mistake and assigned the wrong gender to them at birth. Until recently who knew a doctor delivering a baby also “assigned” that baby’s gender! Have their job descriptions been updated?? But if we believe this indoctrination begins when the child enters school, we are badly mistaken!
What’s in your public library? Have you checked to see if these books are there:
All Boys Aren’t Blue - features a graphically-described sex scene between two young male cousins.
Beyond Magenta -- The story features a 6-year-old boy who recalls giving oral sex to friends in his neighborhood.
Flamer - sexually explicit and pornographic content. This is available to 12-year-olds.
Gender Queer – shows two young males engaging in sex (12-18 year olds); equates the scars from “top surgery,” a surgery that cuts off a woman’s breasts, to having tattoos (The NEA is including this book in their summer recommended reading list for teachers!)
Jack (Not Jackie) – is a children’s picture book about a sister accepting her sibling, Jackie, who realizes she would rather be called Jack and do “boy-like” activities like play in the mud and wear boy clothing.
Lawn Boy -- The book “describes a man in his 20s meeting another man in his 20s and remembering the consensual sexual encounter they shared in the fourth grade.”
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl -- considered sexually explicit
Nick and Charlie -- contains a scene that describes in visual detail two 14-year-old boys participating in homosexual acts with each other.
Rainbow Boys -- illustrates just about every vile trend in teen reading. It features graphic heterosexual sex; it positively portrays homosexual attractions among teen boys and mocks any opposing views.
This is only a very short list. We’ve gone well beyond Tango Makes Three and Heather Has Two Mommies. As you can see in the descriptions, these are sexually explicit books. The books targeting younger kids are written to normalize what most Americans considered abnormal. The books written for older kids take great pains to vividly describe and, in some cases, illustrate graphic sexual acts.
Did you know the American Library Association (ALA) has a Bill of Rights?
Well, they do.
The ALA says their Bill of Rights is “unambiguous statements of basic principles that should govern the service of all libraries”, but they do have a section on their website entitled “Interpretations of the Library Bill of Rights”. Here are some of those interpretations:
1.) Library policies and procedures that effectively deny minors equal and equitable access to all library resources available to other users violate the Library Bill of Rights. The American Library Association opposes all attempts to restrict access to library services, materials, and facilities based on the age of library users. Amended 2019
2.) The American Library Association stringently and unequivocally maintains that libraries and librarians have an obligation to resist efforts that systematically exclude materials dealing with any subject matter, including sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Amended 2020
3.) The school library plays a unique role in promoting intellectual freedom. It serves as a point of voluntary access to information and ideas and as a learning laboratory for students as they acquire critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed in a pluralistic society. Although the educational level and program of the school necessarily shapes the resources and services of a school library, the principles of the Library Bill of Rights apply equally to all libraries, including school libraries. Amended 2014
4.) Libraries are essential to democracy and self-government, to personal development and social progress, and to every individual’s inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. To that end, libraries and library workers should embrace equity, diversity, and inclusion in everything that they do. Adopted 2017
5.) The negative effects of content filters on Internet access in public libraries and schools are demonstrable and documented. Consequently, consistent with previous resolutions, the American Library Association cannot recommend filtering. Adopted 2015
You get the idea - all those who enter the library should have access to all materials found in the library no matter what the age of the library goer.
So, you don’t take your child to the local library, but let them stay home and watch television. Big mistake there too!
Let’s take a look at Nickelodeon. On their website they have a tab labeled “Nick Helps”. On that page, one category to choose from is “Celebrate Identities” and, yes, top of the list is “LGBTQ+ Pride” with a “nice” picture of two dads and two happy-looking young children holding a poster saying “Family”. You are led to believe the children drew it themselves.
Nickelodeon and “Pride Month”: “Nickelodeon champions acceptance, love, and the freedom to be yourself without fear of judgment. Happy Pride Month to all our friends in the LGBTQ+ community!”
On this page there’s also a celebratory video highlighting the fact that Nickelodeon received the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network’s (GLSEN) 2022 Respect Award. As you may recall, GLSEN is the organization that has pushed Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs in schools for decades. These clubs were supposedly formed to create a “safe space” for students who identify as gay, lesbian, or bisexual. Of course, with the US Supreme Court Obergefell decision legalizing so-called same-sex marriage, the big push is now to convince kids they were born in the wrong body. You remember, that doctor who “assigned” them the wrong gender at birth!
It’s not just Nickelodeon; let’s take a quick look at the Cartoon Network.
Earlier this year Cartoon Network celebrated Trans Day of Visibility. More recently, “We Baby Bears” debuted they/them pronouns in a “nonbinary inclusive episode”.
In May 2019 PBS’ Arthur had the main character and his friends attending the same-sex wedding of his third grade teacher Mr. Ratburn. A May 14, 2019 vox.com article says, “the episode refreshingly avoids presenting it as “different” or “non-traditional,” and simply shows that it is worthy of celebration, just like any happy marriage.”
So, just how many LGBTQ characters are in children’s cartoons? According to insider.com there are 259. Here’s the link to check it out.
This article originally was going to discuss the FDA approval of the no-age limited over the counter birth control pills. We’ll deal with that next time!
As you can see America’s children are in the crosshairs of those who want to fundamentally change the mindset of America’s future leaders. Parents, it’s your job to counter this onslaught! Yes, you probably have a full-time job outside the home, but you only get one shot at raising your kids. I believe there was a song written with the words “Love is spelled T-I-M-E” or something along those lines!
